Creative Lighting

Creative Lighting is a lighting agency representing a variety of quality independent lighting and lighting manufacturers. The agency was originally "Saffer-Oliver Sales" from 1965-1986. In 1986, the name was changed to Creative Lighting and Associated Systems, Inc. Creative Lighting's territory covers Nebraska and Western Iowa.

Bill joined with Gordon Saffer in 1965 as agents for Wakefield, Gotham, Art Metal, Electro Control and Sterner. Bill assumed ownership of the business in 1974. Bill was born and raised in the Omaha area. His experience includes 3 years as an apprentice electrician and 7 years with Graybar Electric as a counter and field salesman in the contractor market. In the 40+ years with Creative Lighting, Bill has grown the company to represent more than 30 manufacturers. Bill calls on the distributors, contractors and specifiers in the Nebraska and Western Iowa territory.

Lois J. Oliver ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) has been with Creative Lighting for over 10 years. Besides handling business office operations and tax preparation for the firm, in January of 2006 she also began serving as Design Assistant, having previously worked with Ruth Ann Davis Interior Design Studios. As Design Assistant, Lois calls on designers and specifiers.
